We had the lovely Prince Harry up our way today.
He was visiting the next village to us following on from last years visit after the terrible floods.
Such a friendly chatty young man he is too, as you can see I got a very good look!
Here he is bending down talking to Whinnie whom he met last year, she is 99!
Thank you for all the commenting & faves you have been giving my photos while we have been on holiday, much appreciated!
Three good things:
1. Tissues, Harry has come back with a terrible cough & cold.
2. Excited school children this morning as they stood in the village hall car park waiting for Prince Harry.
3. Such a lovely time we had in Scotland, lovely hotel & B&B's, delicious food & stunning scenery. We met some very interesting people too in the lounge in the evenings.
I love hotels where there are lounges - real hotels. The modern ones just have a couple of chairs in the reception area! A great photo of the Prince - you have to get it right - he's gone in a minute!
A super candid of Harry, Pat , you really were so close to this delightful young man !! So sorry that your Harry has come down with a cold --hope he soon will feel better in his own home comfort !!
@maggiemae He was speaking to this 99 year old fir ages Maggie, she was right in front of me, I could hear the whole conversation. I took a photo of the lounge, I will show you one day this week!
How exciting for you. He looks very friendly.
Our daughter had a chat to the Queen once when we had just moved to RAF Benson in Oxfordshire. The Queen's flight aircraft were there at the time and she dropped in en route to somewhere or other. She asked our daughter if she liked it at her school and Deb replied 'I have only been here a week'. That will teach the Queen not to chat to kids.
You really did get a good look at 'Young Harry' .. I met Prince Charles when I was at high school .. I think Harry is lovely very much his Mothers Son.. Hope your Harry feels better soon..
@loweygrace Yes Lois. Andrea is on a break from her chemo at the moment so she is managing ok, good days & bad I think. Hoping for more treatment to commence shortly I think. She is up & down poor love so still needs all prayers & good wishes.
A very down to earth young man!
Do you have any updates on our friend Andrea?
