I took my cousin to Preston train station this afternoon, stations are always good photo places & I caught this lovely hug just at the perfect moment!
A busy family weekend with a couple of hiccups. My brother was taken ill in the night & had to go to hospital.
He has a problem swallowing food for some reason & despite warning him not to eat the meat he did & payed for the consequence!
He's ok now but has to go for further investigation which is a good result from a worrying incident.
Three good things:
1. Managed to squeeze through the traffic parked stupidly on either side of one of our country roads. A Halloween event!
2. Neil's train was leaving in ten minutes so good timing!
3. Just keeping up with the egg laying, hens have dropped off laying for some reason so we are eating them practically as they are laid! Harry is on house minding duty opposite so we have a second source at the moment luckily!
Nice of your cousin to visit and also meet your brothers again! That could be a worry - but not to worry unless there is a worry - if that makes sense. A train station makes a good opportunity for photos!
Beautiful old railway statiom They knew how to build a "grand design" back in the day. Lovely people watching shot. Hope your brother's investigations don't reveal anything too serious.
This is a delightful image, Pat! A charming train station and a sweet embrace!
I'm so sorry about your brother's health scare, and I'll be hoping that future tests show that all is well.
Also hope that your hens start to increase production for you before your second egg source is no longer available. :)
A lovely candid shot . Love the roof structure of the train station -- so typical of stations of a certain era ! Sorry to hear about your brother Hope the further tests will prove all is well !
@julzmaioro@gijsje@jesperani thank you for your good wishes for my brother, like all men he is reluctant to go to the doctor so now is being forced into it so possibly a good thing in the end!
@peggysirk Ha ha Peggy I hope so too as we have a good few B&B's in. Hate having to count them out as it's so easy to over cook them if I am distracted by chat! I might have to buy a few!!
Hope your brother is okay. one of my problems is difficulty swallowing too and they have diagnosed a few problems. Have to see a Professor Talley next month to find out the next step.
@onewing Thanks Babs, it seems to be a family thing & I think they will soon cure it once he's been to the doctor. Hope you find out what causes yours, it's a frightening feeling!
