Shopping santas

A Father Christmas run on the prom at Southport meant there were quite a few Santas strolling around this morning!

A very chilly wind but no snow! It was forecast to be heavy & disrupting for travel but not a sign of any this morning!

Three good things:
1. I feel more Christmassy today, I think the tree up tomorrow might be a good idea!
2. I have a sore throat tonight, not a good thing but OK when you haven't to go to work tomorrow!
3. I bought a sweet book for children called Grandpa's Guardian Angel by Jetta Bauer. The illustrations are delightful which I why I bought it! Reduced to two pounds so how could I not?

Who was the lucky girl then -- So you had a great weekend with no snow ! Love the Santas and the tittle doggy Santa !! As for Christmas , this year I have no oomph either !

Cool picture!!! I think there are quite a lot of these Santa Runs on the go just now.....one of my friends was involved in one today too.
I say put Vicks vapour rub on the soles of your feet with socks on top and it really has always made a difference for me! And hot tub/ sauna facilities at our hotel this weekend have cleared so much of the cold symptoms I feel a lot better......and lemon and ginger tea with honey...../ whisky......whatever you prefer. Keep cosy and hope it clears soon!
