There's weddings & weddings & this one last week at The Priory Lancaster would be equally as important to this bride & groom as it was for Megan & Harry yesterday.
The Priory church stands on a hill right next to the castle so it's a lovely place to get married. The bells were ringing as this bride arrived at the church for her special day.
Three good things:
1. Lots done today so the list has shrunk to two entries.
2. The biscuit tin filled up.
3. I have pretty much finished packing. Didnt intend to do it today but I got started so carried on. A relief to get the weight sorted out. I only seem to have 16kg in my main case & 4kg with boots in a seperate bag, can't think that is right but it does seem quite light when I lifted it up.
how very nice and perfect weather too. In Sweden they say that you should have a few drops of rain to really bless your marriage. We had a few, seconds before exiting the church....
@maggiemae I will have a rucksack, main case & hold-all with boots & now snorkel stuff I found in the attic. It's surprisingly easier to pack for winter!
Fabulous photo - we loved being in the Priory on the Saturday being tourists and went to the Sunday morning service.
Hugely amusing and memorable as local girls school recorder group were playing lovely music at a critical point and when their practiced pieces ran out continued with Nelly the Elephant!! We did giggle. 💛
A lovely photo of the church as well as the wedding couple!
I think the very act of making a list and putting items on paper fixes it in our head so you are probably OK!
