The competition

I got a second, third & fourth today with my photos.

Quite pleased really & I spoke to the judge afterwards & he couldn't believe I had taken that street scene with the guys chatting outside the pub with an iphone5.

A tiring hot day in the tea tent but the worst thing is reckoning the money up! I'm not good at adding up these days as I never have to do it but when people come along & ask for two teas at £0.80 then a coffee at £0.90 a couple of biscuits at various prices I feel like giving up! We have decided to round the teas & coffee up to a £1 a cup to make it easier tomorrow.

Good things, we had a TV on in the tent to watch Wimbledon.
It was cooler when the sun went round behind the trees plus we opened the back of the tent up.

Tired tonight & six in for b&b so taking it easy.

Don't know how you do it! Standing on your feet all day and concentrating on handing out change ( I just couldn't do that now) then back home to visitors! Glad you got awards - keeps one trying for the best!
