This lone white faced sheep looks like it’s standing on top of the hedge but in actual fact there is a pile of soil behind giving that impression.

A damp, dreary chilly day so we have the wood burner on early today.
I watched my favourite film recorded over the Christmas period, Brooklyn starring the wonderful Saoirse Ronan.
Three good things:
1. A very large bowl of porridge this morning with blueberries has lasted me all day so I’m ready for my evening meal!
2. A brisk walk round the village this morning.
3. The smell of hot meat & potato pie in the car after I had been to the bakery.
Ooh ,I agree with the damp dreary day - I haven't been far from the fire all day !! Such a cute sheep - she looks as if she is casing the joint from over the hedge - perhaps the grass was greener on your side !! :)
Seems to be a day for concentrating on food. I am about to put a pheasant casserole in the oven. We have both just woken up from a siesta, perhaps the sheep is a Herdwick
I've heard of black faced sheep but never white faced!! But there it is! I think its being a nosy neighbour! Amazing how porridge fills you up - sticks to the side as it does in the pot! Meat and potato pie sounds wonderful!
