Simon Alex’s fiancé took this photo this afternoon. Alex had been showing Simon all her old haunts, primary school, house where they lived in her first seven years & he they popped into The Green Man @sarah19
Three good things:
1. I have spent the late morning & afternoon sorting out pictures, filling holes in the walls rubbing down & painting with appropriate paint.
Note to self, far less pictures up in new house....less is more!
2. I have seen a great b&b house near Alex’s wedding venue for our visiting family to share next year.
3. Rory Stewart is through to the next round in the search for our new Prime Minister.
Lovely photo.. what a pain filling all the little holes.. but good on you .. new owners would appreciate that.. Is the wedding in NZ.. good you have found a house
@julzmaioro Yes near Te Aroha, I have sent them a message enquiring, have to get in early before they get booked up. I wouldn’t like to move into a house not in good order...it’s only polite in my opinion.
I like that large glass for the G&T! With lemon. Alex will be so happy to be with you. Te Aroha is a beautiful wee town. We loved it staying there and having coffee and a huge slice of chocolate cake up the hill.
That's lovely- I think you would know she is Lydia's cousin😊And yes The Green Man, and the lovely stroll past Alex's first house to your farm is forever in our memory!!
I'm glad Rory still there....I wonder what next!!
@sarah19 Oh dear he’s out...it wasn’t his best showing, he needs an audience & it was a shambles last night! He will go far though I reckon! You have a great memory talking about Alex’s old house...had to think myself for a minute!
I'm glad Rory still there....I wonder what next!!
