I went a walk along the canal this afternoon with my nonagenarian friend!
We had a round the block walk calling in at Barton Grange for a Sandhams cheese tartlet. Absolutely delicious.....thin crisp pastry filled with soft hot cheese, balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce & little tomatoes. We could have eaten double. Rounded off with coffee & a little shortbread biscuit.
Three good things:
1. The loveliest of days.
2. One of the top things in our lives friendship.
3. My Fitbit passed my daily step target! First time in ages!
Lovely reflection of the trees on the water. We were discussing possible trips from our flower club and one of the ladies said "I will go anywhere as long as it incorporates Barton Grange!" made me laugh!
Ooh what a lovely walk to enjoy with a friend - such a beautiful and peaceful scene with the sky so blue , the sun shining causing such beautiful reflections on the still water ! fav
