I haven’t been out today & it’s rainy so no walk. Seeing as there was a bit of discussion on our hair yesterday I thought I would take my lockdown look.
It is longer than normal & the fringe is beginning to tickle my forehead but on the whole I’m coping quite well with it so far.
Three good things:
1. Lots of chat on the phone this morning! What would we do without them?
2. A great telephone appointment with our doctors surgery this morning.
3. I’ve ordered some lovely pasta dishes from Habitat.
Haha! I look like Worzel Gummidge with my hair! I cut my fringe (success), then my Dad’s hair (whispy to say the least) and my son’s hair which is really curly! I think it hurt and the clippers got stuck lol! And you look great!
I didn’t think about haircuts being a problem during lockdown but yours is not too bad at all! I’ve had to cut three heads of hair here and may have to repeat the performance. I chopped a sticking up tuft off my own and it helped a bit! My colour, like yours, is all natural. I will be pleased for a trim when it can finally happen.
Pat , that is not bad at all - nothing that a little snip here and there wound not put right - I have trimmed my fringe and around and behind my ears where the hair had a mind of its own and stuck out !! Who is to see it during lockdown ! ha !!
@jamibann Harry won’t let me near his either....I like his longer though so haven’t pushed! @joansmor interesting times Joan! @helly31 Oh you’ve done so well Helen! @bkbinthecity I think we all do 🤣🤣 @gijsje Thank you Bep...I am actually quite liking it surprisingly! @carolmw my niece who has the hairdressing salon in our village says he answer phone is full up every time she goes in! @dide Yes I will go for a trim...they will soon fit us in Dianne! @julzmaioro I’m putting mine behind my ears too but it won’t stick just yet! @beryl No I don’t feel too bad thanks Beryl the fringe is bothering me most but will see to that a bit next week I expect!
Hair - I couldn't wait for lockdown to end and cut my own a couple of weeks ago - luckily I have curly hair . You're so lucky to have such great natural hair colour.
Dare I say this...but you have a Boris Look about you. Your hair looks soft and silky. You can always trim your own fringe with a pair of sharp scissors!
Ha ha we have had lots of hairstyles over the years - the bob, perm, bun, pony tail, afro, crop, bouffant etc but who would have thought that the craze for 2020 would be the shaggy dog look.
Oh yes! ISO hair. We have two more weeks before our salons open, it’s getting interesting around here. I just keep pushing mine back off my face. I don’t have any decent headbands and my hair is so thick my hats don’t fit. I’m in a pickle!
Still looking great. A couple of days ago, and for the first and probably last time in my life, i dyed Christine 's hair and she said I did a good job. It does seem so to me.
@joansmor interesting times Joan!
@helly31 Oh you’ve done so well Helen!
@bkbinthecity I think we all do 🤣🤣
@gijsje Thank you Bep...I am actually quite liking it surprisingly!
