Home for good. by happypat

Home for good.

It’s been a nice day today so I went to visit Jack who has come back from Japan after three years!
He’s self isolating of course so we had to meet in the garden.
It was lovely to see him but no hugs!
Cathy & Garth are having their garden landscaped so it looks a bit messy behind him!

Three good things:
1. Warm weather at last & the main thing for me no wind!
2. A custard tart for tea.
3. Late birthday cards!

Welcome home, Jack! 14 days will soon be over. Bet you are still smiling to have him back home again.

So lovely to be able to catch up but I bet you wanted to give him a big hug.. soon...
Donna and kerry are doing stage two of their garden landscape at the moment.. desugner wanted to put in two speciman trees .. pohutukawas.. but they were going to cost nearly $8 000 so have to go with plan 'B'..

Oh my, what a welcome home, 14 days of isolation. Well I know you are glad he’s home, and it will be so good to be together when you can be.

Great to see him....hugs will come! It's very odd especially when hugging is so much part of life. I expect he will have lots of stories for weeks to come.

Delighted for you to be a family again in spite of the restrictions.

Reality check! It's taken a long time to get this stage...so I imagine we'll all do what we’ve always done...and accept it. What choice else?

He's obviously allowed to self isolate at home! Does that include his parents too? Good to actually see and talk.

Sad isn't it Pat ...how did we get here?

It must be lovely to have Jack home again. Two weeks isn't long to wait to give him a welcome hug.

It is so difficult to keep a safe distance in instances like this. And when the time comes when you can him you will scared to do it. That happened to me with Max.

@maggiemae Yes it does really maggie. They are eating separately & he’s keeping to himself & wearing mask. Spending lots of time in his bedroom....he’s done a week already so it will soon be ok.
