My sister & her husband have a small cottage in Normandy. They are staying there at the moment with their dogs & just hoping they can beat the quarantine on their return... so far all OK!
I have never been but two of our kids & families have stayed there.
They love it there & are really unwinding.
Three good things:
1. WhatsApp so we can all keep in touch.
2. Patience.
3. New ideas ie. making gin out of potatoes! Weird!
Oh this cottage is fantastic - idyllic. I love everything about it. I hope they do okay and the quarantine doesn't catch them out. I have friends travelling to France this Friday who are waiting to hear if they have to quarantine on their return.
My son would love this. He would sit on a sunbed and spend all his holiday sitting there doing nothing. Unfortunately for his wife he would also pretend that he is served while he is sitting there.
