I dropped my car off this morning to get the windscreen washers fixed. I set off walking back & took the opportunity to take a photo of this attractive cottage & garden.
Not just as nice as it looks as it’s on the side if a very busy bridge in St Michaels. I could never have taken a picture unless I was walking.
Heavy lorries & lots of traffic pass by all day. I have no idea what the studio part is.
It does look very pretty though, it’s just it’s location & it’s all about the location!!
Three good things:
1. So glad of the Aga to dry our clothes, we got soaked this afternoon, it’s been pouring down all day. I shall miss it when we move.
2. Krami, Lydia's cat likes the Aga too...he sits there in the front staring at it!
3. I spent two hours wasting my time watching Selling Sunsets on Netflix! It’s really lowbrow TV but quite fascinating. All these glamorous girls selling amazing houses in LA...another world!!
I’m only on series one so lots of fun yet!
@susiemc Not only that Sue, it’s a narrow bridge which won’t take two bigger vehicles tot her so they stop just outside waiting. The bridge gets hit sometimes then there are traffic lights...just a nightmare!
@phil_howcroft Really Phil, well I go past here all the time & I never knew that! What you learn! I‘ve just googled it myself....fantastic inside but they would get a bit of a shock when they see the location. The studio is obviously an extra room at the back & there’s me thinking art studio! It was interesting to see inside!
Charming with the flowers. The window box flowers would need watering so someone must come in and do that! It would be noisy too with the trucks and cars!
@julzmaioro It’s been all about location with us recently Julz...you can do anything with a house but the location & area round us has been everything!
I’m glad you’re a Selling Sunset fan! Adam and I still giggle about the final episode- hilarious in parts. Nigel mutter but still watches. We’re on Million Dollar Beachhouse now. Nicer properties but the agents are more annoying!
@judithg I’m late coming to these Programmes but you can’t help but be amazed...thought I might get tips for our new place...ha ha it’s the size if one of their bathrooms! I’m only coming to the end if the first series...all that argy bargy with Peggy...now that is some tough lady....she would stir up a nunnery!

Really very wet here too!!
My absolute favourite house is in a not too nice suburb of Newcastle. If I could transport it here to the bay I would snap it up.
