A lovely day for my walk today.
I felt much easier walking today....nicely loosened up after yesterday’s!
The big sky....it wasn’t as dark as it looks here as only mid afternoon on a sunny day but I think looking into the sun has altered the light somewhat.
This water is flooding in the fields, to the right of me is the River Wyre. The path is on a raised grassy bank...quite a few people walking along here mostly with dogs.
Three good things:
1. I could smell the sea...the river is tidal so it ebbs & flows...it was ebbing this afternoon...moving quite fast.
2. A visit to the accountants this morning...a box to leave our books in for attention.
3. Harry has had a massive clean up of the garden. All the old plastic pots full of soil & grit all in a pile ready for the booked visit to the tip next week.
@julzmaioro Same here a Julz. You with your fancy camera & me with my mobile!! I could learn a trick or two I dare say!! It will be a while before we get to stroll round NZ I guess! 😨

@maggiemae Yes I like this walk....the same one I did from last house but this time at the end of this field I turn left instead of right...no hill to climb up with heavy traffic flashing by me.
A lovely scene. It is beginning to look rather chilly now. I hope you don't live too close to the river, you don't want to get flooded. A lovely place to walk but best to live on higher ground.

@onewing we have always lived near the river Babs but high up....if we got flooded the whole of the Fylde would be flooded! I have to walk downhill to reach it thank goodness!
It was lovely today....I was glad to be out! You feel very virtuous when you’ve been out exercising! 🤣🤣
