Home for now.... by happypat

Home for now....

This is our home for the next few months.
It’s small & rather dark but comfortable. This is the only seating area by the back door.
We are lucky that it’s only about four minutes walk to our bungalow so easy to keep an eye on proceedings.
I haven’t been today so no photo of today’s work.

Good things:
Harry has had his second Covid vaccine today.
Big changes already in the renovation site.
The internet was off this morning but now back on again for now.
What a delightful bunch of daffs to greet you by your back door ! As long as the temp home is comfortable Pat - just think of the joy to be in your fab new home within few months . Great to be able to keep your eyes on proceedings - nice to see it and make sure ,all goes to plans !

Good to keep an eye on things! This looks cosy but your bungalow will feel very spacious when it's done.

@beryl @fueast Thank you both & yes we will feel very spacious when we move back but the biggest difference will be the light...

At least a lovely cheerful display of daffodils ouside the door. They will last much longer inthe garden.

It looks like a cozy little nest with wonderful flowers to greet you. You never know, you just may have fond memories of this humble abode when you move into your bungalow!

If you have to go without something even for just a wee while, having it back again is double the pleasure!

It may be small but at least it sounds cosy and close enough for you to keep your eye on your bungalow.

This looks quite cozy and it's certainly convenient to the work in progress. Good for keeping a close eye on the progress. Love those cheerful daffodils by your back door! And it's wonderful that Harry is now officially Covid-proof...or at least safe from severe illness.

Should be exciting to see things shape up

Glad you found housing nearby to watch over the construction- it’s necessary to keep an eye on the details!

Exciting times! Can't wait to see your finished house!

Oh, a second jab, very good! Exciting times for you. Patience will be a virtue though, I'm sure.

Nice shot and flowers. My brother was called in to get the vaccine. I am one and a half years younger. Am checking the post box everyday to see when my turn is.

Not a large area, but hopefully sunny and lovely spring flowers.

AS long as you're warm and comfortable, that's what matters.

Comfortable is what counts.

Nice to see the daffodils blooming there. Ours are still quite tightly closed. It's very good to be living so close to your own place while the work is being done. Hope Harry was none the worse after his second vaccine.
