Ready & waiting.....garden tools. by happypat

Ready & waiting.....garden tools.

A very tidy row of anything you might need when gardening. The little trowel on the left has a handle made out of an old snooker cue.
I like an orderly display like this.

Deep condolences to our Queen on the loss of her husband of 73 years.

Three good things:
1. Builders all present & correct working hard. I think everyone who have builders in live in terror that they are going to up-sticks & go somewhere else for a bit!
2. Warm enough to sit by the back door & read for half an hour.
3. Cathy has bought a bed for Connie the same as the one she has at home...it can live at our house.
Having snapped both my spade and fork last week I can appreciate some well kept tools. I should look after mine better.

What an orderly collection.. love the pool cue handle..
Hope your builders stay on task otherwise there could be a TV program about them..
Condolences to the Royals..hope they all come together at this time.
So now you got a Connie bed at your house you really are co-parenting.

love the shadows and colours Pat

Perhaps this is supposed to be a work of art and not really to be used? Poor old Philip!

They all look neat and tidy. We have a trowel that is donkey's years old. The handle was fixed with an old coffee table leg and is still functional. The trowel, not the coffee table, ha ha.

Such a delightful vignette of gardening tools. Love this sweet shot.
I was saddened to hear the news of Prince Phillip’s death. He lived a full and exciting 99 years.

All set for spring planting!

Yes, I was sad to hear the news about Prince Phillip. We were sitting having our lunch on the hillside when we heard. I wonder how the Queen will cope without him by her side? But she will. She's coped with so much throughout her reign of almost 70 years. And to think that she was never really destined to become Queen.

A lovely image, by the way - l like the light and shadows. Are the tools yours?

I wish I had my tools nicely arranged like this. I don't think the brushes are for the plants; they must be to clean the boots when ready.

This is so organised, I love it! I was terribly sad about Prince Philip, especially for the Queen's sake. She will soldier on, knowing her, but oh she will miss him.

Please add a gardener as well please. FAV

Very organised! It's very hard when half of you is missing.

Shouldn’t you be gardening not photographing!!!

Very nice shot. I put together a bit of a tribute collage

I was wondering why there were scrub brushes for gardening...hmmm...good idea for cleaning off the tools! Obviously I put mine away dirty (but our soil is very sandy and falls off before they get to the shed)

@jamibann @gijsje @maggiemae @bkp These are you our tools...they belong to our friend & Cathys MIL....I took the photo last Saturday when the big clear up was on.
