Connie loves her walks in the fields & has started bouncing as she runs....all legs off the ground!
It’s been a very busy day....X-ray for Harry first thing this morning & then Connie the rest of the day.....she was full on.....I think the last few days must have limited her walks as she was raring to go today!
Three good things:
1. We have bought a new kettle & it arrived today. The one in this house has been switching itself on by itself so we are going to use our new one now...don’t want to have to replace this one. Loving the new one...I have splashed out a bit as it’s for the new house.
2. Called for a portion of chips in the village on the way home from dropping Connie home....saved me doing potatoes to go with our mince & peas!
3. The builders have started building the overhang of the roof which will make a small veranda under the bifold doors.
Love her! O so wish we’d filmed Monty flying (literally) over the steps halfway down the garden. We got a new kettle today - it’s a lovely Smeg (I haven’t told Nigel the price but the cheaper one we had only lasted 12 months & John Lewis had a good deal!)
@judithg@fueast I nearly bought a Smeg but in the end went for the smaller KitchenAid one as it’s good for old hands being able to hold it at the top instead if all the weight sort of sideways if you know what I mean. My last kettle hopefully!
@judithg The plain stainless steel Judith! Not sure of my colour scheme just yet so played safe. Boring but it’s very nice! Just boiled it fir the first time this morning, it seems quiet & holds more water than I thought. I researched prices too & in the end bought it at a good price!
So glad Harry is on track for a diagnosis and some relief with the X-rays being done!
