Sorry not very original but I’m showing the family our new wool rug.
It arrived this morning & thankfully we like it & its the right colour & look.
Quite hard choosing online as you can’t have a feel, how long is the pile, is it shiny….some of them are…..is it thick enough, is it the right price & finally how long is the waiting list?
Some of the ones I liked had a 12 to 14 week wait!
We very carefully unwrapped it as you could return it within 100 if it wasn’t right.
Three good things:
1. A hair cut & I was allowed to read the magazines while waiting!
2. We have had three pictures reframed…they look totally different, love them.
3. Pink lilies.
Beautiful - it really has made your home look cosy ! I know how difficult it is to chose on line - you can never be sure of the colour , texture , pile length etc ! I have been casually looking for a new rug for the living room for when I get round to decorate !! Mind you I have changed my mind umpteen times already -- better for me to get the room ready 1st I think . !!
@beryl Think that might be a good idea Beryl. I bought mine from Rugvista. So much choice….plus you have to know metric measures to get the size…I had to convert every time I saw one I liked!
