One of our neighbours was working in this boat when we walked past this morning.
He’s just bought this 24’ boat & towed it up from Southampton.
He was just doing a bit of work on the electrics before towing it on to Ullswater in the Lake District.
He already has a boat up there but he wanted one that he can sleep on. ….my youngest son in NZ wants to exchange his for one to sleep on too 🤣🤣🤣not cheap though!
Had to laugh at the name.
Three good things:
1. A nice walk in the sunshine to the village, Harry for a haircut & me to the post office.
2. A coffee & scone in the Courtyard cafe afterwards.
3. We have both had our feet done….parents perks!
I'm wondering if it is a yacht or a motorboat. No mast or keel but they might be taken off. Not much room on this narrow road to park a boat - or caravan!
Well you have to admire the enthusiasm. I'm not a boat person ... kayaking on the Yarra was a huge achievement last time we were in Melbourne, but no plans to repeat it!!!
Was 'the Courtyard' where we had lunch with you that lovely sunny summer day? 😊
@sarah19 No it was shut that day but on the opposite side of the road where we met up. We went to the Farmers Arms, I so enjoyed that day! I’m with you on the boating scene….kayaking on the Yarrow would be a step too far for me
I might post it - still have the shot!
nice story telling Pat
