Not often I post a black & white photo but I thought I would today for a change!
When I was walking Connie last week there were about ten older walkers all with Nordic poles getting ready to set off.
Connie & I met them on the way round…….just a glimpse of them among the trees.
Three good things:
1. The wardrobe man has been here all day & the base & the frame is in place. Unfortunately the doors haven’t arrived, apparently they only deliver doors on a Monday or Wednesday! Here hoping for this Wednesday!
2. Dene is a very tidy workman but a prolific tea drinker!
3. The wind blew one of our bins across the decking into the glass doors, no damage thankfully.
Nice light and shade here - more contrast in B&W! We have a friend in his 80's who uses these poles all the time - just to give him stability. I expect Dene had a cup of tea every time you offered to make one!
@julzmaioro I do too but I think Dene might have finished the main build by then & might not be able to wait around for them coming….not too bad as we can hang our clothes up. He is coming back to make me a laundry cupboard at the beginning of March too. A bit if crossed wire as I thought he knew we wanted both! 😳
So frustrating only getting half the job done.. let's hope it's a Wed delivery..
