Another look at this pretty garden from down the road.
They spend a lot of time designing & building walls etc but it always looks a little untidy on the ground!
There is a waterfall among those stone walls! Sounds lovely!
Our poor neighbours over the road have had their house sale fall through after months if months….. I really feel for them. We know exactly how they feel!
Wow, that’s beautiful. So sorry to hear about your neighbours. Our next door neighbour is struggling to sell hers too. I think maybe the current economic climate is too uncertain for people to take on further debt. Hope things work out for them soon.
@tinley23 We think it’s exactly that too Lesley….. having second thoughts on the commitment. You can’t blame them but it’s months down the line so heartbreaking!
Such a highly designed garden - it must take them all their time to look after it all -- The flagged area is rather a calming effect from all the busy and compact designs of the rest !
A young family of mum dad and 4 little ones are having problems with the sale of their house - the buyers finding all sort of faults to get the price down , while the house they were buying seems to have problems as well ! Such uncertain times !
what Beryl says - @beryl. Though I think it looks easy to maintain - just the trimming of the hedges. So stressful - selling houses and choosing a new one!
What an interesting garden. Hope it is drought resistant after all your dry weather.
Sorry to hear about your neighbours house it must be so disheartening. Luckily buying and selling houses is so easy in Australia it is a different system and usually settlement is within either 30 or 60 days from the date of the sale.
My brother in law and his wife have just sold their house in Queensland and moving to Western Australia. They are driving the 4500 km journey at the moment. I reckon it will take them about 10 days.

Such a disappointing and stressful time for your neighbours.... not easy to find the right words.
