Levens Methodist Church

Harry & I have been to a funeral today at the above church.
Such a beautiful simple & peaceful church beautifully decorated with simple country flowers on every windowsill.
So many friends & relations gathered there & then at The Villa at Levens afterwards.
There was a gap luckily between the service & the refreshments at the hotel….Harry & I could not find our way even though it was only couple of miles from the church….so many roundabouts & new roads! We got there in the end.
Another funeral tomorrow.

Lovely to see simple flowers. They tell a different story, don't they? My mum's friends gathered wildflowers for mum's funeral in July 2011. They were perfect for mum, as she was definitely a country girl.
