Our second funeral this week was a very different affair.
Allan was the gamekeeper on the estate where we farmed for over thirty years.
We got to know them well & I am Godmother to their son.
It was a massive shock to hear he had died of a heart attack suddenly.
Big turnout & a very moving service.
Allan big hobby was his bow topped gypsy caravan & every year he drove to Appleby Fair for the gypsy gathering.
He was carried on his cart all the way from home to the crematorium.
Nine other horses & carriages accompanied him.
There must have been a few hundred there!
He will be massively missed by his loving family.
