We drove along part of the Ring of Kerry traveling from Killarney to Kenmare. Quite a narrow road in parts & our driver Derek did very well. Stunning views but it was quite rocky so it was with some surprise to see this very well kept sheep farm surrounded by neat green hedges.
You can call in & adopt a lamb if you are so inclined…I declined!
Three good things:
1. It’s raining hard again….so welcome!
2. A nice long talk with number one son this morning!
3. I’ve been out researching trainers this afternoon. I know what I want but didn’t find any at the Fleetwood Freeport. Trouble is I only like the dearer ones!!
@julzmaioro I have no idea Julz….a money spinning thing for would be farmers…probably American I’m guessing! Anyone would have been very welcome to adopt any of our animals for a price! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I guess they have to send progress reports but what happens when they die by whatever means I have no idea & sheep like to die don’t they?😳
I remember those mountains! Kenmare was on our return leg of the Kerry Way hiking track. We had one day off in the 9 days it took us to hike that 120 miles and it was in Waterville. Lovely bit of coast.
A lovely scene. I think you are talking about what we call tennis shoes, when you say “trainers”. I have found that you really do get what you pay for with them. The lesser expensive ones break down quicker, they don’t last nearly as long as the more expensive ones.
@louannwarren You’re right Lou Ann. My old cheap ones have very thin soles & if I walk on gravel I can feel every stone! I want a navy lace up type but would be good if they had zips for easy putting in. I saw some but not my size I but shoe shop in Garstang has them.
