River walk.

I took a walk along my usual route this afternoon.
Just thought I would show you how high the River Wyre was up today.
You can see how all the debris & reeds have been flattened.
A very up & down river!

A lovely sunny day, we managed to sit out fie a bit in the sun in the middle of the day & Oh yes the washing almost dried outside!

It was Jacks birthday yesterday, how fast these grandchildren are growing up!!

My first thought was that the river was high. Quite dangerous, given recent events too, though it doesn’t look it from this scenic view.

It's good to see the river from a local perspective.

Looks like a lovely day for a walk. Is this close to where the poor girl fell in a few weeks ago? I suppose it should be quite safe as long as you stay to the paths.

Its very wide and obvious this enables the flooding to be contained. Doesn't show how deep it is though!
