DIL sent me this photo overnight.
The young man in the firefighters uniform is our grandson William.
He & his fellow firefighter friend Andy gave a talk & demonstration to a local school.
I’m sure quite a few of the children in New Zealand would be inspired to join up in the future.
On another success our granddaughter Lydia has passed her Autism Diagnostic Training, a tough exam in which she was the only one is her group to pass!
My friend with the broken arm has been signed off & can now drive herself!
I will miss our little trips out shopping together!
How lovely that William is training up young folk about fire safety and careers in the fire force. Wow - Lydia has done so well. A proud grandma moment!
Great bragging Pat and why not ! William's job is so worthwhile and good to share the career and fire safety with the youngsters! Well done Lydia - congratulations!
I remember you writing about your grandson's work as a firefighter - he and his colleagues must be very brave to have a job like that. The presentation must have been very interesting for the kids.
Well done Lydia knowledge that would take her far..
