Nina aged two among the autumn leaves on South Island New Zealand.
Obviously I didn’t take this photo but it was sent to me by my daughter in law.
Three good things:
1. I fell over this afternoon on the drive……missed the step but had time to think & tuck my arms out if the way so no damage worth talking about!
2. The cupboards are full for our visitors!
3. Half a trifle left for our pudding!
Such a cutie!! and enjoying playing in the dried leaves! Ooh Pat sorry to hear about your fall - the shock of it sometimes is worse than the bruises! Hope you are OK ,
@beryl I’m ok thanks Beryl but my knees are a bit sore & I fell on my right side so it’s a bit sore when I cough but I’m fine….could have been so much worse & best of all only Harry saw me fall!
Adorable.Fav😊.I did the same three weeks ago, ended up with a black and blue, swollen lip(lucky no broken teeth). Just one badly grazed lens in my glasses, which cost me £146.00.Better than smashed teeth, though.
@carolmw oh thank goodness Carol…..we have to be careful at our time if life…..it was a shock more than anything but you did worse than me! Hope you’ve recovered now! I just forgot about our front step, no idea why!
She has such a mischievous look on her face. Someone plonked her there for this photo! Every step you take, you have to be totally aware. My friends hubby fell over and he has serious damage to his shoulder which may take 3 months to become pain free!
@onewing I was amazingly sharp enough to tuck my arms away Babs. I had time to think as we have grandsons from
NZ visiting from tomorrow fir a few days & Harry has his hand op on Friday….. not the time to be breaking an arm!!
What a delightful photo of Nina.
She definitely has a good look of you Pat. 😊💕
Sorry to read about the fall but glad no injuries.....it can happen so easily.
This photo sent me back about 45 years to a very similar shot I took of Donna in leaves in a park in Matamata..
Sorry that you had a fall, do take care. Glad you didn’t break anything.
Sorry to hear you had a fall but glad there were no serious injuries. It gives you such a shock though as you go down doesn't it.
When I had a fall a few years ago after missing the step while leaving a friend's house I put my hand out to break my fall and broke my wrist instead.
