Connie loves the beach!
She had a brilliant walk yesterday on a very quiet beach. Hardly anyone else around!
Blackpool at its best!
No dogs allowed on this main stretch after the end of April.
Just made it!
Three good things:
1. A day of baking & cleaning.
2. We have our two grandchildren Max & Finn from New Zealand staying over from tomorrow. Just a few days so not long.
I might be lax posting & commenting for a bit…..lots to do!
Connie really in her happy place.. look at those ears flying.. it looks a really flat beach and lovely sand..
Enjoy all your time you have with those lovely little kiwis..
A great expanse of beach with the iconic tower in the background. Seaside places are so much better without tourists, though I’m sure businesses wouldn’t agree 😉
Such a huge expanse of sand for Connie to explore with no other dog or human in sight ! Love how you have captured the town and tower in the distance - could not be anywhere but Blackpool!
Connie is having a great time isn't she. I have never seen Blackpool beach so empty. You have even got the tower in the picture too, well done.
Have a lovely time with your grandsons I bet you can't wait to see them again.
I expect Max and Finn are no longer the little boys we used to see.
It's always great to let dogs off the lead somewhere safe not near a road. We have had instances, though, of dogs killing birds, penguins, attacking seals etc. They may change the rules!
How lovely to have the little guys with you for a few days. I'm sure you will enjoy every minute. 💛💛💛💛

As an aside, I was watching the news this morning and had never really thought about how continuous the cleaning is of the tower windows.
