I have had ample opportunity today to take loads of photos but took none hence the above.
Cathy dropped Connie off this morning & I took her a walk & we got caught in a horrendous heavy shower….we were both soaked to the skin!
Into Garstang shopping this afternoon & the library.
I got home & Harry said his plastered hand was swelling up round his thumb.
Our surgery sent us to A&E where we were seen quite quickly & to cut a long story short he has a new plaster on.
I was shocked how many stitches he had, must have been around 20!
Anyway this plaster is not fibreglass like the last one but a heavier model which I must say serves him right as he’s been using the hand when he shouldn’t have!
It has to last until Wednesday when he goes back for stitches out!
I think some fairy with a name beginning with H mowed our lawn while I was at the cinema yesterday!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️😩. It only has to be steered so quite easy but still!!
I was surprised when he had been delivering stuff the other day, because I’m sure you said he was told to do nothing? When he sits down it might help to keep the hand elevated, to stop swelling.
Nice shot.
@carole_sandford Exactly Carole.! Luckily no damage done but I’ll have to watch him now as this new plaster only covers the back of the arm & hand so much more movement which is going down well of course but not good!
You can't tell them can you. I have the same problem with David. When he has been naughty doing something that makes an injury worse I just say 'self-inflicted' and he doesn't get sympathy.
I have got a wooden mallet you can hit him with if you want to borrow it for when he doesn't' do as he is told.
Nice shot.
