Coronation party

We e been back to our old haunts today for a sort of street party.
A brass band, hog roast & cakes made by the WI.
There was a royal quiz & a conjuror for the young ones.
The weather was superb & a great time had by all. .it is so lovely to keep in touch & meet up with all our old neighbours.
Lydia was home so good to meet up with her again.
It all took place in the village Hall & school car park. There is a beautiful crown green bowling green & tennis courts too.

@maggiemae I saw it on TV at a neighbours maggie. A very blurred black & white image it was too but amazing to us as it was all new. A few friends were saying yesterday their dads had got a TV specially for the Coronation….not bought but Radio Rentals ….
