At either end of our road where it meets the main road we have new flower tubs.
Sort of hexagonal shape made with sections of light wood.
I had a walk past this morning on my way to deliver a card & was impressed with the work the volunteers have done.
Each plant had a stone with the name of the plant written on it.
Another prize in the best kept village completion perhaps!!
Our daughter & son in laws 31st wedding anniversary today…….celebrating on a bike tour in northern Italy.
What a lovely idea and so good that someone cares how it looks. I noticed that the primulas in our church pot by the entrance had been removed. They have struggled for a few weeks with the blackbirds pecking them out. Maybe someone decided they would be better taken out altogether.
@julzmaioro I have to say what Julia said was so in our garden. When we bought the house the garden was full of beautiful rhododendrons and each had a stone with their variety painted on. Unfortunately we rented the place before we shifted in and the family then, tossed the stones everywhere!
