This lovely Horse Chestnut tree is looking magnificent just now.
Full of flowers like candles it’s at its best just now.
Not our tree I might add but it spreads itself over a good bit of our garden.
The leaves did look a little brown & diseased last autumn….I believe there is a tree infection around but thankfully it’s in great form just now.
Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree by Glen Miller is very apt just now.
A bit more gardening today. A bit of weeding & sorting out the plants in the front wall.
We had some buttercups which had to be dug out so I’ve moved another three plants into the garden at the back.
We need a few more alpine plants to lie lower & spread over the wall a bit.
Green dustbin day tomorrow so a good break from gardening for the rest of the week! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
the neighbours trees can either be complementary or an eyesore. Our neighbours employed a tree person and asked if he could cut some of our border trees out1 We allowed that and now benefit with more light getting into the garden.
