In Poland, according to tradition, the Christmas tree is decorated on the Christmas Eve before supper. May stand in ower houses until Candlemas (February 2).

@tinley23 Exactly, we don't put the Christmas tree on until Christmas Eve. When everything is clean and ready for Christmas.

I think the tradition is correct. I know the Catholics here don't take down their trees until "little Christmas" which is supposed to the the day the wisemen arrived, and I believe that's January 6 or about.
