Chapter 3: put your camera on Shutter Priority mode.
Top photo: 1,3 , F20, iso 200
Bottom one: 500 , F5,5, iso 1600
Camera was hand held in both shots, next time I should use a tripod for the long exposure.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Tripods are heavy and awkward to take on a walk. I’ve bought a monopod, in a walkingstick, but always forget to bring it and I also have a small one which I also mostly forget........have to tie a knot in my handkerchief to remember taking one ;)
@runner365 Hi Claes, you can follow Emma Davies https://ayearwithmycamera.com/
And sign up for her emails, they are free of charge. In those emails she explains weekly a subject. I bought her books and work them through on my own. 365 is a great forum to get feedback. I like your interest in my project, we can learn a lot from each other:)
@jacqbb already found and bookmarked it, I will just give it a thought before joining - no reason to join unless I'm pretty sure I can find the time.
I don't collect regrets at the moment 😏
I started AYWMC in April 2019 - didn't manage to complete all the lessons and keep meaning to go back and do a rerun. It is such an excellent course and I really enjoyed the lessons I did complete - it has made such a difference to how I take photos now. The shutter speed and aperture lessons were a real eye-opener for me. Enjoy! :)
