@farmreporter gave me the following challenge: Your get pushed challenge photo is to be one that is adjusted perfectly with a nice range of high-lights through to the shadows.
Today we visited castle Amerongen, the guide told us that this library will be uncovered in april as will be the rest of the furniture in the castle. They cover it in the winter to protect it from dust
It was fun to see (or not to see) everything covered in dust sheets.
What a wonderful room - how marvellous would it be to have a library like that in your house!! I love your image of it too - the contrast between the sheets and the books is so good. :)
@shannejw@kgolab@lynbonn Thank you all for your comments and the fav! I’ll go back later in the year for photo’s without the sheets. They cover everything against the dust and also because these houses are very cold and the sheets protect against that too they keep the temperture more even under those sheets. I was very glad to have worn my wintercoat even in the castle. Drafty and cold.....
