My daughter is home from university for a few weeks, so catching up with the simple pleasures of life with her. We golfed yesterday morning together, and then made some bran muffins. A lovely day. My son arrives on Saturday, so things are good! :-)
@tesssa Ha ha, sadly no deliveries, and anyway, they are mostly scoffed by now! ;-) @amandal@thresheg@leananiemand Thank you folks! They were very tasty. I jazzed this photo up with a bit of HDR, just for a change.
@cailts LOVE having the kids home - don't see enough of them these days! @dgrynn Thanks Deb - they were lovely! @lucypics Lucy, my daughter is the same ... these were really tasty too!
They look and sound amazing. Have a lovely time with your kids home, hope they don't have too much studying and you get to do some fun things during their stay. I can't say I'm sorry mine are finished with the stresses of studying, especially this time of year.
@paulaw The muffins were really nice, although I had to freeze half of them as we overdid it a bit! The kids don't have too much studying this holiday - Christmas was worse, but you're right, it is always stressful. @milaniet It's great to have them home Milanie - and even nicer that sometimes they like to do the cooking these days! @sansjuan Thanks Nita - meeting our son in Vancouver tomorrow evening and heading off to Whistler for a week's skiing! @gamelee@mauriciorodriguez Thanks guys!
@paulaw Thanks Paula - just hoping my 18 year old son makes it to Vancouver from London as planned. His flight arrives 2 hours before ours does. It's always a worry, as he's not quite as organised as we or, or rather he does things 'differently'!!!
@amandal @thresheg @leananiemand Thank you folks! They were very tasty. I jazzed this photo up with a bit of HDR, just for a change.
