Buy Me a Rose by jamibann

Buy Me a Rose

Buy me a rose, call me from work,
Open a door for me, what would it hurt,
Show me you love me by the look in your eyes,
These are the little things I need the most in my life.

From a song of Kenny Rogers

Posting early as I'm off out for dinner tonight and have a very early start tomorrow as we're going to watch Rory McIlroy at the Shell Houston Open Golf Competition! :-)
That says it all. FAV

This is so gorgeous. Love the antique feel to the roses. I have several small yellow ones hanging here beside my desk I'm hoping look rather like these in a few days for the very same perhaps. Fav!

I'm touched you like the framing on my pictures. I work in PhotoshopCS5. I duplicate the image, trim off a bit of the top layer, darker the lower layer (although in the Ugly Truth I lightened the lower layer), and then lastly drag an inset line and stroke it some complimentary color. That's a very basic explanation. I'd be happy to share more precise details if you'd like. In the last couple of days I've tried out some filters and textures, but honestly haven't a clue what I'm doing in that department. 365 has inspired some further learning. Thank goodness for you-tube!

@lyndemc It was so kind of you to give so much detail on how you frame your photos - I love the effect it gives. I don't have CS5, unfortunately, but I may be able to do some similar thing with PS Elements 11. I don't use it much, but I do need to spend some time on it working out what edits are possible. Thanks again.

You are most welcome. I've not used Elements so I don't know if it works similarly. Perhaps it does? Good luck.
