This is a shop just a couple of streets along from our home in Houston. It is fairly run down, but sells some nice old pieces of furniture. The owner is Irish, obviously! Processed with Silver Efex.

We live in an area which is in full development phase - lots of old houses still around and lots of new ones popping up to replace them. In fact, I was shocked to look out my back window the other day and see that a wooden house which was there the day before had been completely demolished. On the plus side, I now have much more light in my back yard, as they also removed a rather large tree, but on the negative side, I know that this empty lot will be filled with a massive 3 story townhouse in the very near future - then all my light will disappear completely! Ah, well, that's life!
