Having had a very busy week, I was delighted for Sunday to come round and have a quiet day for once - my main tasks for today being a jog and a photo. The jog was easily achieved, but I was struggling for the photo. Anyway, I went off out into the garden, via the back garage door and look what I found. A delightful bright green cricket resting on the door jamb. So, as the lighting was good, I started snapping away, when one of the little people came up and insisted on being in the photo! I mean, what's a girl to do? These guys are everywhere, I tell you!
How delightful! Ken and I are always in disagreement about painting things... I like the slow changes in decay. If there's a complete opposite to that, that's where he stands! And only in the last couple days, like you, I've had all the day to choose to do what I'd like. That's a pretty special gift, and I know we've used it well!
Oh, this really tells how tiny these people are. Mr. Cricket was a very cooperative character to stay put while a miniature man moved in near him. Great macro shot, Issi.
Have fun with your new painting project.
