Vigeland Babies by jamibann

Vigeland Babies

The Vigeland Park is apparently the world's largest sculpture park made by a single artist. There are more than 200 of Gustav Vigeland's sculptures in the park, and I believe they all focus on the human form. The park was completed between 1939 and 1949.I had a great couple of hours wandering around there, and have just chosen a couple of images to post - another one on the Odds and Sods Album if you're interested.
I love the grainy feel of this, it brings out the details in the sculpture.

Too realistic! Not sure I care for this piece of art, but you've captured it well. The light and shadows bring out the human forms.

Like the DOF you've used and, as with buildings, the sculpture looks great in B&W

Intriguing piece. I'm going to guess that's snow on the top. Thinking that's what it is, it appears these kids are having a ball in the snow.

Wonderful capture of this intriguing sculpture! As Jeannine commented . . . I like the grainy feel of the image. :-)
