The Classic Clock Shot

This was taken at the Musée d'Orsay yesterday as I went to visit the Degas exhibition there with a friend - who was kind enough to pose in front of one of the magnificent clock faces inside the building. It was another snowy day in Paris, but I think it's moving on now.
Wow. Love that Issi, would make an awesome canvas or acrylic

LOVE this... when we were there several years ago the place was under traps and being renovated. I couldn't get near this unfortunately!

SO amazingly beautiful! It reminds me of that lovely movie, Hugo, about a boy whose father is a clock maker, but they find and repair an automaton. Look it up if you have no idea what I'm talking about! It won a lot of Academy Awards the year it was released.

@Weezilou I had to google this, although I did have a vague recollection about it. Caterina @caterina also made comment about Hugo, so checking it out was absolutely necessary ... I found this ... 'Hugo is a 2011 epic historical adventure drama film directed and co-produced by Martin Scorsese and adapted for the screen by John Logan. Based on Brian Selznick's book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, it is about a boy who lives alone in the Gare Montparnasse railway station in Paris in the 1930s.' Thank you ladies! :-)
