A face only a mother could love

Hubby and I found this 'baby' pigeon wandering around our garden yesterday. Absolutely not a thing of beauty, but definitely worth a photo, he was so scruffy! He wasn't injured in any way, but didn't seem able to fly yet, although he looked to be almost full sized. I hope he didn't have a run in with Casper, the neighbour's cat. I know who'd come off worse!

Hubby's birthday today, so we're off to a hill loch to fish for brown trout. I don't think there'll be any blue sky photos though - it's grey, wet and windy out there!
