As expected, it was more than a little cold, wet, snowy and windy at the top of Lochnagar yesterday. However, we had a lovely trip up, and all the better that it was Dave's 60th birthday. We never knew! However, Pete did, and so we were able to have a wee dram at the top before heading down out of the bad weather. This was taken about 3/4 of the way up. I was in front and wanted to get the boys walking towards me in the mist and rain, but they stopped and posed for me instead! Ah well, you can't win them all. And the biccies/cookies were a great success, but seriously rivalled by a piece of Dave's wife's marmalade cake, which was delicious too!
