I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas Day. Ours was successful, but I always find it hard work. I don't relax until it's all over. Boxing Day will be a much more pleasant day for me. Our daughter has a 'Games Day' planned - inside and out, so we'll see what that brings!
Yesterday I received this little package from a walking friend - all home made. A pack of cookies made by her husband Alan, a little sprig of heather, a tiny bottle of salad seed sprinkles, a jar of blaeberry jam, and one of wild raspberry jam and a little package of bird seed - all foraged locally! What a lot of work, and what a delightful gift to receive! Thank you Carole. :-)
Such a personally chosen gift….makes it much more special & each part looks delightful. We have had a lazy day today too just ourselves. We also played games last night something we don’t normally do but it was fun.
