A new tradition, I think, Boxing Day Games Day! Organised by our daughter, I think you can see from hubby's body language, that he won the first of the competitions, along with his partner, the Games Organiser! Boo Hiss! They may have won the first game, but Alexander and I won the remaining 3 indoor games. The losers organised dinner - which was an Indian Carry Out! A fun day. Thank you Mhairi.
@happypat I'd never heard of the game, but it's called Kubb Wikingerspiel (Viking Game). Scandinavian I presume. Our daughter appeared with it as part of her gift to us. You set out a group of blocks of wood outdoors, and it's about knocking over the blocks by throwing a small wooden pole in a certain way. Hard to explain, but fun to play!
