On Saturday evening we went to the new 'Fish Shop' in Ballater. A lovely restaurant with a fish shop attached. This was the decor in part of the restaurant, on the high ceiling. It was very effective, and is made of willow, by the same lady who made the Living Willow Crown on the church green. Very clever, I thought. We had a beautiful meal, although the price matched it! The restaurant is owned by the same people who own the Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar. They own a lot of things in this area. Maybe just a little too much?
A very stylish restaurant, love that ceiling! Not just your ordinary chippy then? 🤣 the clientele of the Fife Arms will be able to have supper out at the same standard!!
