Troup Head

From the tiny village of Crovie, I walked around the headland of Troup Head to see the nesting birds on the cliffs. I was only disappointed by not finding any puffins. Great spot for gannet viewing though!

Heading over to Fowlesheugh today to see if I can find any puffins.

The gannets here seem to be affected in different ways by bird flu. Hermaness worse affected but Noss not quite so bad. Bonxie nests in our village down 80%
