A beautiful, bountiful bouquet arrived today from my wonderful husband; and I can think of several reasons why I love it. I love him and his sweet, thoughtful ways — always have and always will. I also love flowers, and these pretty lavender roses immediately brought to mind the lavender rose bush young Sarah and I planted many years ago in the small rose garden we created on the side of our then home. She loved choosing the colors for planting, and her extreme delight over the lavender roses has the color still holding a special place in my heart. This vase of flowers travels with me from room to room as I go about my day so that I can enjoy it to the fullest — a habit of mine that I see no reason to kick!
I praise you, Lord, for my husband with his sweet, thoughtful ways.
Such a lovely colour for the roses. I do like the idea of moving them around with you through the house. I was given some flowers at work last week, I kept them there as I was spending more time in the office than at home, but brought them home for the weekend to enjoy. Beautiful image.
