The Melody by janetb

The Melody

Gracie and I ran errands together today with stops at two parks to enjoy a couple of walks beneath a beautiful, clear blue sky. When we got home, we could already hear the cheerful melody before we even climbed the stairs. The solar chimes in the sunroom, bathed in bright sunshine, rang out like never before. What joy they add to our home!

I praise you, Lord, for the solar chimes' cheerful melody.
I love the lighting in this photo and the photo itself is so interesting. I have been away from 365 and have missed reading about your day. I look forward to seeing what you have been up to for the last little while :) You always inspire me in so many ways .

@kgolab Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Keren. I've hit a busy spell recently and fell a bit behind on commenting here on 365; I was able to check in on your project today and, as always, was delighted by your pictures and your words. I could say the same about you...that you inspire me in so many ways. I love following along with your day to day life there in Tasmania. My son did a study abroad semester in Adelaide, Australia, when he was in college; and he traveled numerous times to Tasmania. He loved it! ♥

@janetb Your beautiful comments made my heart sing :) Thank you so much, it is always uplifting to know that other's enjoy my photography, but even more meaningful when it is a fellow 365 person who has a personal connection with the art.

Your son's opportunity to study abroad, definitely took him to a beautiful part of Australia. I have spent a lot of my younger years in Adelaide and South Australia. I also have family living there. May I ask what he was studying that brought him half way around the world?

@kgolab Wow, amazing that you have a connection to Adelaide! He loved his five months there and plans to return to visit friends sometime. He was actually studying accounting when he was there. The college he attended encouraged the students to do a semester abroad regardless of their area of study. I can’t remember exactly why he chose Australia, but he was happy he did. We’d love to visit the area someday and see the things he’s told us so much about. :)
