Playing with the brilliant 90mm macro lens again.
First is the full size flower shot at 90mm.
Second macro
Third Super macro
Fourth Super macro + 26mm extension tubes.
I'm wondering if I should save a few £ and get the x2 dedicated converter for next year's Buttermoth eggs and larvae or will the ext tubes be enough...

I bought a 60mm macro lens more than 10 years ago and I've frequently regretted not spending the extra for a longer macro lens … usually when seeing Ester's shots — @dutchothotmailcom — with her 100mm macro lens… Alas.
@rhoing I have used the brilliant little Olympus 60mm macro for years, with and without ext tubes. The 90mm was released in February and I spent the time after telling myself I could wait until next year, partly because of the cost. My clever little Doggie decided her mummy NEEDED it now so she’d have months of practice to master the lens before butterflies and moths start ovipositing. Of course she was right - but neglected to tell me I was paying!
It’s got its own IS so combined with the OM1’s super IS, it can, hopefully, overcome some of my wobbliness.
