mother gave birth to me in grandmother's front bedroom at 02.45, Wednesday 19 September 1945.

I've had a delightful day.
2 hours of blissful pampering - reflexology and facial.
Went walkies and called in for coffee. The girls lit a candle on my cake and sang the happy birthday song. Can't remember when anybody sang it to me, it's so long ago.
after next walkies came home to find flowers had been delivered from friends.
Then another friend and her 2 boys, 6 & 11 came with a card.
The boys played with Tildi and then mum & 6 year old left. The 11 year old decided to stay and gave me a lecture on Greek Gods.
And now the day is winding down.
